Olé Market is here!!!!

Today began the first of four fun-filled days of shopping at the Holiday Olé Market sponsored by the Junior League of San Antonio (JLSA).

Luckily Wednesday's set-up only took 3 hours to complete.  What normally takes between 4-6 hours to pull together we did the set-up in just 3 hours.  Here's a before picture of our booth:

People don't really get all the hard-work (unpacking, lifting, displaying) and creativity it takes to put your booth together and make it look inviting-- with such a small space (10' x 10').  I give my team...my boyfriend, my mom, and my aunt... mad props for helping me pull my vision together in cramped quarters.  Good job guys!

I use tables to set-up and grid screens to hang up my artwork, however; looking around at other booths, and their elaborate set-ups (some booths had dressing rooms, chandeliers, and a lounge area for your significant other to rest while you shop) I think I  need to step-up my game.  I am very pleased with the over-all turn out, but I think I need to change things up a bit.  Maybe one big furniture piece?  Or perhaps a dedicated 'try-on' area.  Hmm... suggestions are welcomed!

Here's my booth after set-up:

I try to have my jewelry in categories: Frida and Mexican Folk Art, PaperDoll Courtyard, Santitos Collection, CowGirl Junk, and Piggies and Pearls...but in the end everything just comes together as people come in to shop and try things on.  I think my booth gives a very comfy, eye-candy vibe!

Now to get ready for tomorrow!  Remember my team and I will be at a the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall until Sunday.  Hope to see you there!
