That was one quick summer. I haven't been around as much as I hoped. So much happened so fast that I could barley catch my breath. My aunt suddenly passed away this summer from a massive heart attack. She left behind four children along with three sisters, one brother, a mother and a niece (me) who have spent most of the summer adjusting to her loss. She was a huge supporter and fan of my artwork. I would like to thank those of you who have reached out to my family and me via text, e-mail, and Facebook. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
In spite of my obvious creative block, the other night I was in my studio re-arranging and I found some butterfly beads I had stashed away for a mixed media project (which I plan to get to...one day). I saw these gorgeous tear-drops laying on the table across from my and the idea came to me...

Dreamy Butterfly Earrings |
These look absolutely dreamy, hence the name! They are very lightweight and comfy. You can find them on my website by clicking
here. That night I ended up making several pairs of earrings and two necklaces. I posted most of them of my website and gave status updates on Facebook when the other where posted. I still have a couple more items left to post....
Stay tuned.
