Exciting new changes coming soon!!
Hello Blog-Land!
It seems like an eternity since we last spoke. I apologize for my absence. These past few months have been filed with sketching new designs, participating in art shows, and working on commissions. I'm excited to announce Scarlette Dove, the brand, is venturing into a new chapter of design. While still working in Mexican Folk Art, I've decided to explore other genres of art and add my own perspective. As an artist, one should always experiment with new mediums to evolve to become a better artist and open up the creativity.
There are so many new things I would like to share with you, but in due time! I'm changing things up a bit and adding more services to my website. I've also added a new banner to my blog--thanks to a very talented graphic artist I've been working...she's truly an amazing artist!! (She does custom graphic work so if you're ever in need of sprucing up your blog, banner, or just want a "new look" email me and I will send her your info)
One thing I'm super excited to share with you is that one of my necklaces-- "Love is Blue" (Necklace: N808) was published in Bead Trends Magazine May2013 issue.
This is one of my favorite necklaces! It's so versatile and can be worn casual with jeans, or dressy for a night on the town.
The necklace is available on my website along with tons of new items!
