For those of you online today getting a jump start on all of the "Black Friday" sales and specials...I, too, am having a special...an "early birdie" special.

Now, if your hitting the streets tomorrow to begin (or finish) your holiday shopping definitely come to the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center "Peace Market"...an alternative to commercial shopping.  I, as well as the rest of my crew...Ruby and my mom (we're a tiny crew..lol) will have a booth at the Peace Market.  The event is two days (Fri. & Sat) from 10:00am--6:00pm.  If you're in the neighborhood stop by...the market will have an array of vendors selling arts/crafts from local artist.

Busy...busy..busy...

Dia de los Muertos came and left so quickly I didn't get the chance to comment on the shows or share the pictures.  Both the show at Say Si and the Mercado were so much fun.  The weather was beautiful and the crowds were steady.  The Dia de los Muertos procession downtown was amazing!!  The large skeleton puppets danced through the cobble stone streets of the Market Square followed by dancers carrying marigold glowers.  Almost everyone had there face painted like a sugar skull or wore large hats adorned with feathers like la Catrina.  I did post pictures on Facebook but here are a few:

This year's Dia de los Muertos events were a lot of fun!  Can't wait till next year.
